Profile:
Sara
attended SLCC from 2000-2003 and played for the
Lady Soldiers all four seasons. She now works
at GCS Federal Credit Union in Granite City, Illinois.
She and her husband of two years, Ryan, currently
live in Granite City.
Sara
has been an avid volleyball player since the fifth
grade. She was awarded MVP at her high school,
Hope Christian Academy, during her junior and
senior years. Sara was also named MVP at eight
tournaments her senior year. She twice attended
volleyball camps at Southern Illinois University
of Edwardsville.
As a
Lady Soldier, Sara was awarded Most Valuable Offensive
Player her last three seasons. She was also named
to the all-tournament team at St. Louis College
of Pharmacy's 2002 Invitational Tournament.
The 2007 season will mark her second year coaching
the Lady Soldiers. Sara is very excited about
the future of the team.
