The SLCC Alumni Association will host its annual Homecoming on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010. We hope you will make plans to attend! Homecoming is a wonderful time for SLCC Alumni (and their friends and family) to come back to the campus and re-connect with the school that has given so much to each one of us. The theme of the 2010 Homecoming is “God’s Word for the World,” and the day begins with a special chapel service at 10:30 a.m. Jim Bettison (Pioneer Bible Translators) is our speaker, and Matt Campell (Leclaire Christian Church, Edwardsville, IL) is our worship leader. Hannah Newlin (Harvester Christian Church, St. Charles, MO) will direct the SLCC Alumni Choir. We invite any interested alums to sing with us! (We will rehearse at 8:30 a.m. that morning in the Music Building.) At 6:30 p.m. we will gather in the cafeteria for the Alumni Banquet. (The cost is $15/person.) We will enjoy a great meal and honor several Distinguished Alumni. We sincerely hope you will join us for Alumni Homecoming—a great opportunity to “come back home” to SLCC and reconnect with lifelong friends!
